G.A.S.A.K. Faces to Inspire-Day 3

 Day 3
There was juxtaposed paradox on painting Desmond Tutu in Kwa Mashu. Kwa Mashu is renowned for  high levels of crime (according to statistics) and Desmond Tutu an activist for peace at the center of the township. Desmond Tutu a respected reverend whose plight against injustice and war has gained him a Nobel Peace Prize & the Presidential Medal of Freedom graced the wall of a home alongside the township's  main road.

GASAK enjoyed a beautiful day with close to perfect conditions. Many onlookers were amazed at the artistic impression of the reverend but voiced their concern, the ramification in having such a figure with political associations  might be "dangerous" as there still friction amongst political parties.

With Desomond Tutu receiving many coveted Peace prizes, may that spirit of humanity be capsuled within us all be awakened as onlookers drive or walk past the mural.

Do your little bit of good where you are;
its those little bits
Put together that overwhekm the world
Archbishop Desmond Tutu
