Al Nicoll a reputable photographer who has been collecting accolades from an early age "The Students Sports Photographer of the Year" and later in his career, "The Kodak Association of Photographers Award in the "Sports Editorial category". With a career spanning over 20 years and counting, Al has been freezing golden moments of success onto film for the world to see.
As a young explorer, Al traveled extensively to the worlds island hotspots; Indonesia, Philippines, Seychelles, Mauritius and Australia. Taking jobs that led to messy food fights picking food on farms, and sleeping on beach deck chairs, Al realized his dream of photography at the Canaries Lanzarote Resort meeting sports greats such as Daley Thompson (Decathlon gold medalist 1980, 1984 Olympics) who stands for Epitome of sports glory.
With a degree in Photography from the Bournemouth and a BA in Zoology an interest of Al's.
Photography as a visual art is the cornerstone of the "Now Generation" with Facebook and Youtube uploads.Al's charismatic persona lightens any event with good energy. On a humorous note, Al has ran in the stadium of the Comrades Marathon PMB finish, cycle headgear and camera swinging. The crowd thought he was one of the winners and started cheering and applauding all so that he can get to the finish before the winning runner and take the photo finish.
