G.A.S.A.K Faces to Inspire-Day 2

Day 2
Jock of the Bushveld's producer and director, Duncan MacNeillie was the second face
painted by GASAK for the "Faces to Inspire" project on a RDP house in Isolezwe
Section (Kwa Mashu), a scorching hot day for painting but GASAK endured the pain
in the name of art.

Duncan MacNeillie is reknowned for creating the first 3D animated version of
"Jock of the Bushveld"but originally made it a traditional film in 1986.
"Jock of the Bushveld" is a literary classic by Percy Fitzpatrick (1907).
The Storyline is about adventures of him (author) and his dog Jock
during the 1880s Gold rush. Coincidentally the backdrop of Duncan
MacNeillie's mural was a corn field

Vale Khuzwayo a grade 11 student joined us from  5am-9am even though
he had an exam at 11am.GASAK mentored as he sprayed a wall adjacent to
Duncan MacNeillie's mural, getting pointers about the art of graffiti.
An enthuisiastic learner who caught on fast on the tricks of the trade
Let us hope that Vale can pursue a career in graphic design.

An artistic tribute to a legend indeed Duncan MacNeillie
