Moses Mabhida Stadium is named after the reputable memeber of the S.A.C.P. Mr Moses Mabhida.
He left a rich legacy having been exiled in Mozambique due to the Apahrtheid Regime,
and an acquaintance/advisor of many international leaders and close a friend of Chief Albert Luthuli
1960 Nobel Peace Przie winner. Through Mr Moses "Madevu" Mabhida journey of strife and hardships
many South Africans enjoy freedom in South Africa.
