The Sun by Louse Swan

The Sun

The sun rises over rooftops and chimneys
And smiles as the people follow
From their beds.
Then,
The sun shines golden upon the grass
And hops between the ripples
On the river.
And,
The sun makes light and casts shadows
That dance with each movement
Of the wind.
Then,
The sun paints the clouds shades of red and pink
As it begins its’ descent
In the west.
Finally,
The sun disappears over the horizon
But some grey light still remains
As a memory.
