Hip Hop Afternoon @ Alliance Française de Durban
Appreciation of the various Hip Hop art forms for Durban to digest will be held at the Alliance Francaise de Durban for 25 June 2011.
Beat boxing maestro, Drumkit, reknowned for his skills also featured on Holly Wasserfall debut album, "Holly-TwentyFourSeven". The multi talented Ewok, a slum poet and rapper whose graced many stages locally and internationally (Berlin, Cardiff, Sweden...) Open mic sessions, Cyphers for the lyricists, FreeBeer and live art on Skateboards. Join in the festivities and bring your Chinaz, Chinaz-Chinaz, Couples Chinaz.

Lets transcend into the past and heal the heart of Apartheid South Africa, learning from the past abuses accepting that we can never go back to those inhumane circumstances but learn and grow from them. Kwa Muhle Museum is a window to days of Pass Laws, Bantu Social Society and Municipal Beer Halls, time travelling to the past will keep us centred today. The lives lost in the struggle on all sides is a testomony of greater things to come for South Africa as a collective. Freedom was attained at the price of human life so it should not be neglected.
